Excitement Continues :-)

Wow... The excitement continues with so many wonderful developments that have me spinning with so much happiness!... Where to begin....?

Ruben from Stay Connected came out with a really cool idea for the folks in Orange County, CA. Wells Fargo is astonish with making Rubens vision into reality. For the next 5 years, 100 Latino's in Orange County will be selected. A year book with bios will printed and given to educational institutions for our the youth. There are so many talented people doing amazing things. This concept will allow our youth and community in seeing that are many rolemodels. Bravo !... I'm honored in being selected as The OC Latino 100 for 2006.

The Orange County Business Journal is havinging their 12th Annual Women In Business Awards on May 25th www.ocbj.com . Wow.... what an honor in being a nominee. I humbled and so very proud in knowing that people recognize my entrepreneur's spirit . My dream is turning into reality despite the many hurdles and challenges. Thanks so much NLBWA for the nomination and thank you Jayne for your support & encouragement!...

Last week, I participated in My Style Fashion Show with Mirian. I was so impressed with the fashion show, seeing the many talented designers, JC Pennys had little girls designs and the program was excellent. I also had the pleasure of meeting , a Salvadoran Designer that flew from El Salvador for this special day. As soon as I have time, I will post the pictures of the fashion show and my new jewelry designs.

Another cool development that occurred as being a member of Las Comadres, my name was passed along to Dialogue on Diversity from New York. In partnership with Microsoft Corporation an IT Entrepurenership Conference will be taking place in LA. www.dialogueondiversity.org . This is the first time that this conference will be taking place in the West Coast. 10 entrepreneur will have an opportunity to talk about funding. This conference is presented in partnership with HOPE, NAWBO, USHCC, LA Chamber of Commerce and other Business Associations.

I'm also looking forward to the upcoming Indi Producers Hollywood event this Friday in Beverly Hills. I'll have to take my camera.... I found that my perceived conception about Hollywood changed after I attended last year. I'll have more details and pictures coming up soon.

During the last few weeks there have been so many changes to upgrade the operational structure. With that being said, my hubby also hurt his back, so it's been challenging. On the bright side, I've lost weight and some how have been blessed with energy that has given me the power to continue my steps towards my goals.

It has also been so nice to see how my little boy and girl treat people with respect. My little boy has been joining me for some meetings. He's a very charming, thoughtful little guy that loves conversation with adults. My little girls loves playing teacher, and seems to have an aptitude in math. I'm so gratefully in having my family and business work hand in hand. Two weeks ago we tried flying a kite. That didn't work ... with one adult ... they don't make kites the way they used to.
